Choosing an FPV frame

The frame decides the propeller size, the wheelbase (the diagonal distance between opposite motors) and how much battery and payload the drone can carry. Frames here are sorted by the largest propeller they take: up to 7 inch for freestyle and racing, 8 to 10 inch for cinematic and long-range flying, and 11 to 13 inch and 14 inch and up for heavy-lift and endurance builds.

Look at arm thickness, since thicker arms survive crashes and heavy motors better, at the stack mounting pattern your flight controller and ESC need (20x20 or 30.5x30.5 mm), and at whether there is room for your video system, GPS and antennas.
